It sure seems like love has been forgotten,
I'll take a step and admit I don't love people like i should.
Recently i read a book called Blue Like Jazz,
and honestly it hit me upside the head.
Donald Miller talked about how a lot Christians don't love right.
We only love cause we have to, we don't care about people genuinely.
We use monetary terms when it comes to love, we invest our love in someone, or we donate our love to help some one out.
Love is not a bank, love is a gift.
Love should be given and not expected back.
Love isn't proud. Love isn't greedy!
Do we take time to go and feed the poor, to clothe the needy?
Do we take time out of our busy schedule to stop and help someone who needs the help.
I'll take a step and admit I don't love people like i should.

Where is our compassion, where's the the love?
Are we just clanging cymbals.
Talking about how we love?
Or do we show love in everything we do.
